Wellness Day in Temecula

The staff at Hello Auto Group was proud to host their first Wellness Day Event in partnership with Michelle’s Place Cancer Resource Center. On February 16th, the Hello team gave back to the local community of cancer patients by giving them a day of wellness and pampering. In the United States alone, over 5% percent of people will experience cancer during their lifetime. For most individuals living with cancer, they go through changes such as hair loss, skin changes, and more, due to drastic life changes, radiation, and chemotherapy. Michelle’s Place is a non-profit cancer resource center located in the Temecula Valley that gives resources to families dealing with cancer such as support groups, wigs, therapies and more. By partnering with Michelle’s place and with the help of a local Temecula Spa, the Hello team was able to provide over 40 cancer patients with their choice of a massage or mani/pedi. This gave these cancer patients the opportunity to feel beautiful in their own skin and have a day to feel refreshed and forget about the hardships they may be facing. The spa also provided each of the participants with an all-day pass giving them access to amenities such as the steam room, sauna, and beverages, so they can have a complete day of relaxation. The Hello team received many testimonies and tears from many of the participants on how this day helped them forget that they are a cancer patient, a mom, a wife, daughter and gave them the opportunity to just be themselves, have fun, and while spending time with others who became family during their journey and are going through similar life stories. At the end, the Hello team also provided the participants with a gift box full of relaxing goodies such as a candle, bath bomb, and more. Being able to support the local community and people who need a day of wellness warms the hearts of the Hello team and they are so grateful to be able to give back to those who need it.
