Putting Solar Panels on Non-Profits
In honor of Subaru Loves the Earth®, Hello Auto Group, met with Madeleine Seneor, the mother of the founders of Everybody Solar. Everybody Solar’s focus is to bring solar energy to nonprofits by offsetting 100% of the installation costs for the nonprofit. They worked directly with industry experts to research local regulations, contact and evaluate solar installers, establish long-term partnerships with manufacturers, and provide technical support to the nonprofits to make the installations come to life. With the help of this organization, nonprofits are able to save thousands of dollars on electricity costs, which they could invest directly into their missions. They could feed more children, provide more counseling, support more shelters, or start more movements. By using the power of the sun, Everybody Solar is helping local communities thrive. Madeleine is the longest-serving volunteer. As Madeleine arrived at the dealership, she was greeted by the friendly staff at Hello Subaru. Madeleine shared her experiences of volunteering with Everybody Solar, how proud she is of her daughter and son who started Everybody Solar and how the organization had grown over the years. The Hello team presented a $2,500 check to them to continue the great work they do for our world. Madeleine was delighted by their generosity and thanked them on behalf of the organization. Madeleine left the dealership feeling grateful for the opportunity to share her passion for their mission, and excited for their new partnership with Hello. Thanks to the generosity of Hello and other supporters, they are able to continue their important work and make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.
