Backpacks For Our Local Schools

Hello Auto Group hosted their second annual backpack drive for the month of July, just in time before school starts. The Hello team helped collect 300 backpacks and donated to the Temecula Valley Unified School District the previous year. This year, their goal was even higher – they aimed to almost double their impact by donating 500 backpacks and extending their support to not just one but two local school districts; Temecula Valley Unified School and the Romoland Elementary School. They aim to help kids facing challenges with a combined student population of over 30,774, and 71.5% are economic disadvantages. Hello understood that children should step into their classrooms feeling confident, not anxious about their supplies. The team contacted both districts, excited to learn about their unique needs. The schools were able to provide a wish list of school supplies needed for these kids to be successful in the upcoming school year. The Hello Auto Group team received help from customers, staff, and vendors to collect these backpacks for these kids. The retailer displayed backpack donation boxes in the showroom, which quickly filled up. Finally, the day arrived when the Hello team met with the Assistant League of Temecula to deliver the backpacks and school supplies together to the school districts. Hello’s dedication had paid off in ways beyond measure. With over 500 backpacks donated, their goal was achieved. Hello’s mission is to continue to shape young minds’ future, one backpack at a time.
