Exploring Vehicles for Education

December 11th, 2023 by

Santa Clarita Valley Education Foundation had their 2nd Annual Touch-A-Truck event. The day was filled with all kinds of different vehicles, delicious options of food trucks, great community base vendors, and more. They had families from all over Santa Clarita area ready to explore the different vehicles. Its goal is to not only inspire kids to learn what they want to be when they grow up, but also help raise money for the SCV Education Foundation programs. The SCVEF programs help with the literacy programs, teacher innovation, and grants/scholarships for the Saugus Union School District, Sulphur Springs Union School District, Newhall School District, Castaic School District, and the William S. Hart School District. They had a large lineup of vehicles such as fire trucks and police cars, dump trucks, massive construction vehicles, race cars, all ready for curious young minds to climb in and discover what it’s like to ride these types of vehicles. Throughout the day, there were surprises and entertainment for the whole family. Children could participate in interactive activities, dance floor, and even a miniature train pulling kids and their parents all over the park. The event’s sponsors, Hello Auto Group, had their booth setup showing their support. They handed out giveaways such as custom Lego sets, coloring books and crayons, pet toys, stickers, and more. The kids loved the Lego sets, stickers, and coloring books! The Hello team engaged with visitors, sharing their passion for the community and why they are not your typical dealership. Hello enjoyed watching the families roaming the event grounds, admiring the vehicles, enjoying delicious food, and exploring the different activities. Over 2,000 people attended the event, creating a vibrant atmosphere. The SCV Education Foundation’s event had brought the community together, creating memories that would last a lifetime. The 2nd Annual Touch-A-Truck was a success, celebrating the Santa Clarita community, and Hello Auto Group was proud to be a part of this remarkable event, supporting the community in diverse and meaningful ways.
